　　 Jiangsu Suwei Microbiological Research CO.,Ltd is located by the Taihu Lake in Wuxi,Jiangsu province. The company is restructured from Jiangsu Institute of Microbiology Co., Ltd in 2008. Major business involve microbiology, food science, environmental science and other areas of enzyme engineering, probiotics, nucleoside drugs, biological testing of new technologies, environmental protection, resource utilization, agricultural and sideline products processing, functional foods, edible bacterium etc.
     Jiangsu Institute of Microbiology was established in 1978, nearly 30 years ago. Restructuring of the Institute employees 40 people, average age 37 years old. Scientific and technical personnel 35 people (including 5 senior, 18 intermediate level), account for 85.4 percent of the total number of employees. The company has five million yuan of registered capital, currently performing 11 research projects at all levels (of which one 863 project, one from the Ministry of Science and Technology Innovation Fund for small and medium-sized companies, andnine other provincial and ministerial level projects ). Main areas of research are food safety, ecological farming, nucleoside drugs, public health, environmental management, edible bacterium etc. Our company has three catagories of high-tech products (e.g. over 20 individual products)with our own intellectual property rights. They are as follows: microbial agents of ecological farming products; food, feed, water quality and safety products for rapid detection; food (drug) use bacteria health functional food products.
     The food safety research department in our company has been conducting research on enzyme-linked immunoassay detection of food, feed contaminants for 15 years. Our Aflatoxin B1 ELISA kits passed the national appraisal at the end of 1995 and launched in china in the same year. We have more than 4,000 customers at the end of 2009.The aflatoxin B1 ELISA kits now owns more than 85% market share in China. Other test kits such as Aflatoxin M1, zearalenone, deoxynivalenol, microcystin, papaverine, clenbuterol,, sulfamethazine test kits had also been successfully developed and launched in china. In the meantime, clenbuterol, ractopamine, morphine, aflatoxin B1, melamine gold Labeled strips also had been successfully developed, forming a ELISA-based food safety rapid detection products chain supplemented by gold Labeled. The excellent performance of our products with low price has won widely acclaimed reputation by customers from all the Chinese regions except Taiwan. Our business has gradually expanded to other countries such as Vietnam, Lebanon, Thailand, Australia, South Africa, and Morocco etc. Applications include: Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Technical Supervision bureau, environmental monitoring agencies, CIQ, feed monitoring, the agricultural sector, colleges and universities as well as food, feed manufacturers and so on.
